Scrambler Fever Rally 2024 gave us the Children's Day of our dreams!
Scrambler Fever Rally is an event for fans of custom and classic motorcycles who are not afraid of off-road and wild nature.
This year it ran from 30 May to 2 June in Lubusz Province, with base camp in cozy little Kołatka.
The event always lasts 4 days:
- Day 1 is pitching camp, sniffing out the new bikes, and playing on the trail tracks.
- Day 2 is the proper orienteering-rally day — a professional roadbook, skill challenges, and of course the special stages.
- Day 3 is a tourist ride around the area for anyone still hungry for wild off-road challenges, then the official results in the evening and celebrating until dawn.
- Day 4 is packing up the beautiful memories, hugs, saying goodbye to friends, and heading home.

Last year it was drought and 'desert' sand. This time: mud and rivers!
Even though this year's already 9th edition of the rally still had scenery straight out of "Dune" with Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet — highways of white, red, and black sand that kept testing how hard we were concentrating — this time something even more off-the-rails happened.
There was something that delights every child, including the big ones. What was it? Mud and puddles! At times they turned into little bogs that grabbed the wheels and wrapped around them like an anaconda. And that was not all! There were rivers! Yes, you read that right!
On the second riding day Marta and Redu treated us to wet challenges. They made sure we felt like kids again — and they did it on Children's Day! The line "dirty kids are happy kids" captured the mood of this trip perfectly. See for yourselves — here is the video recap:
Compared with last year's edition, this one felt more like home. We liked the routes a lot more because of how varied the terrain was. Maybe that was partly the weather's doing — last year it would have dried out a cactus, and this time it capriciously cooked us one minute and dumped rain the next, growing mud monsters.
Sore muscles not only in the shoulders, but… in the cheeks from all the laughing
I mentioned a moment ago that this year felt more like home than 2023 — and I keep wondering, was it only us who felt that way? Or maybe it was because this was already our second time, and so many faces were already familiar?
Anyway, after those 4 days it was hard to come back to reality, and the reflex of scrolling through photos, clips, and other riders' social posts would not peel off me for a long time.
At Scrambler Fever the evenings were for hanging out over travel stories, jokes, and swapping experiences. There was also an especially atmospheric campfire — on the beach, under a sky full of stars. The weather, though moody at times, was mostly kind (and, most importantly, kind when it counted).
A perfect ten!
We give the whole event a 10/10! Thank you to the people behind this wonderfully twisted gathering — Marta and Redu (RHCC) — for exploring and laying out those crazy routes, cooking up the funny challenges, finding such a pleasant spot for base camp, and creating such a great event, and to the whole Scrambler Fever crew, who helped, supported us, and captured those unique moments through their lenses.
